The ProVu VDSL Microfilter (Model MFB2B0U-UK1) is a high-specification low-pass filter designed to facilitate the simultaneous transmission of voice and high-speed data over a single analogue line. This compact, passive device is engineered to support a wide range of DSL technologies, including VDSL2, VDSL35b, and ADSL2+, ensuring compatibility with modern FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) broadband services. It features exceptionally low insertion loss for broadband signals up to 35MHz, which preserves data throughput while providing high attenuation to prevent telephone signal interference from disrupting connection stability. Fully compliant with UK standards SIN 498 and SIN 346, the filter is equipped with a standard BS6312 UK plug and includes a filtered bell wire to support legacy equipment and Caller ID services. By effectively separating high-frequency digital signals from low-frequency audio, it eliminates audible noise on telephone handsets and ensures a clean, reliable DSL connection for home or office environments.
