The TomTom Telematics iButton Reader (9KLR.001.00) is a dedicated driver identification tool designed for use with Webfleet LINK 7x0 tracking devices. By scanning a unique Dallas or Maxim key, drivers can quickly log on to ensure fleet managers always know exactly who is operating which vehicle 1.3.1. This solution is built for high scalability and features an integrated green LED that provides instant visual feedback on successful or failed login attempts 1.3.16. For full functionality, the reader requires a separate 1-wire cable to connect to the vehicle's telematics hub and can be paired with an external buzzer to enforce driver identification through audible alerts 1.3.4. Ruggedly designed to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, it provides a reliable alternative to other identification methods like the PRO 2020 terminal 1.2.5.
