Description

The StarTech.com ICUSB232FTN USB to Serial RS232 Adapter provides a simple and reliable way to connect devices with a DB9 RS-232 serial port to modern computers or systems that only have USB ports.

Designed with a null modem (cross-wired) DCE interface, it resolves DTE/DCE signal conflicts without additional adapters or cables.

 Its integrated FTDI FT232RL USB-UART chipset offers broad OS compatibility and stable communication, supporting baud rates up to 921.6 Kbps.

 Being USB-powered and bus-powered, the adapter requires no external power supply and works with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports.

 It automatically retains COM port assignments across reboots and reconnections, making it ideal for connecting legacy hardware such as industrial controllers,

bar-code scanners, receipt printers, network devices, or other serial-enabled equipment in mixed environments.

What are the delivery charges?

UK mainland delivery is a flat £9 (inc. VAT), with orders placed before 2:45pm dispatched for next business day delivery. Northern Ireland delivery is £15 (inc. VAT), with an estimated delivery time of 48 hours. For unusually large or heavy orders, additional charges may apply — in these cases we'll contact you before dispatch to confirm.

When will I receive my order?

We offer next business day delivery across UK mainland for orders placed before 2:45pm, and a 48-hour delivery estimate for Northern Ireland. Delivery times may occasionally vary due to courier delays — if anything changes, we'll let you know.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

We offer 14 days to return a product if it's unwanted, and 30 days if the product is faulty or damaged. To start a return, contact our team on03300 888 588orsales@wisecoms.com. We'll arrange collection of the equipment ourselves, with full instructions provided ahead of pickup. Products must be returned in their original packaging and in resaleable condition to qualify for a refund or exchange.Find out more about returns.

How can I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order at any time by contacting our team on 03300 888 588 or sales@wisecoms.com. Any amount paid will be refunded to your original payment method as quickly as possible.

Note: if you cancel after your order has already been dispatched, we'll process your refund once the returned package is received back.

How long will my refund take?

Once we receive your returned item, we'll process your refund back to your original payment method within 3–5 working days. If you'd like a credit note for your records instead, just get in touch.
