The StarTech.com 4K HDMI Extender over Cat6/Cat5 Ethernet — EXTEND-HDMI-4K40C6P1 lets you extend HDMI signals beyond the length limits of standard HDMI cables by sending them over a single Cat6 or Cat5e network cable.
It supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz and 7.1 channel audio, along with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and HDCP 1.4 for clear, detailed video.
The kit includes both a transmitter and a receiver, and features Power over Cable (PoC) so only one power connection (to the transmitter) is required to power both units — ideal where outlets are limited.
An IR extension kit is also included so you can control a source device remotely.
The extender’s robust metal housing and mounting brackets make it suitable for digital signage, boardrooms,
and other professional installations without needing additional drivers or software.
