The StarTech 1m DB9 Null Modem Cable (SCNM9FF1MBK) is a specialized 1-meter (3.3 ft) black serial cable featuring two female DB9 connectors for linking DTE devices directly. Its "crossover" pin configuration enables seamless file transfers between two PCs or connections between a 9-pin serial port and a serial device without requiring a modem. Constructed with durable PVC material and 28 AWG wire, the cable includes molded connectors with integrated strain relief for long-lasting reliability. To ensure data integrity, it is equipped with aluminum-mylar foil shielding that effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI). This high-quality RS232 solution is compliant with RoHS standards.
