Protect your Samyang 8mm fisheye lens with the genuine Samyang HP-8F lens hood. Fisheye lenses have a large, highly curved front element that sticks out from the lens body, which makes it especially easy to scratch or bump. The HP-8F is a short, petal-shaped hood designed to shield the front element without intruding into the lens’s ultra-wide view.
The hood also helps block stray light from the sides, reducing flare and haze so your images keep their contrast and colour, which is useful when shooting creative fisheye shots near bright skies, sunsets or lights.
It’s designed for both the stills (f/3.5 II) and cine (T3.8 II) versions of the Samyang 8mm fisheye, and is the ideal replacement or spare for your kit.
