Using advanced wideband OM5 fibre, these leads are optimised for Short Wavelength Division Multiplexing (SWDM), enabling multiple wavelengths to operate simultaneously over a single fibre pair. This technology supports data rates of 40G and 100G Ethernet while maintaining full backward compatibility with existing OM3 and OM4 systems, providing a seamless upgrade path for evolving network infrastructures.
