The ATEN VE803 HDMI USB Extender enables you to extend an HDMI source and USB device signals over long distances using two Cat5e/Cat6 cables. The system is made up of a local transmitter (VE803T) and a remote receiver (VE803R), each with metal housing and reliable shielding. It supports HDTV resolutions up to 1080p at 40 m or 1080i at 60 m, with high‑quality video formats including VGA, SVGA, XGA, UXGA, and widescreen formats. Transparent USB extension lets you connect USB 2.0 full‑speed devices (up to 12 Mbps) such as touch panels or control peripherals at the remote end. An 8‑segment EQ switch provides display optimization, and built‑in ESD protection keeps the system safe in demanding environments. The extender is HDCP compliant and also supports Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio formats, making it suitable for public displays, kiosks, medical facilities, transportation hubs, and interactive signage.
