This is the Gigabit version of the Ubiquiti Instant 802.3af Indoor Adapter that lets you transform any 24v Passive PoE Device into a fully 48V 802.3af compliant product. This add-on units accepts a 48v 802.3af compliant power supply as provided by PoE switches and drops the 48v to the 16v to operate Ubiquiti units The INS-3AF-I-G has an ethernet connection at either end, 1 for the source 802.3af connection and 1 for the onward Passive PoE connection to your device. It is compatible with most Ubiquiti PoE devices using 100 Mbps or Gigabit Ethernet ports. Compatible products include airMAX and UniFi devices.
