The Yeastar EX08 is a flexible expansion card designed to increase the telephony interface capacity of Yeastar IP PBX appliances. With four modules supporting a total of eight telephony interfaces, it allows businesses to add analog extensions or trunk interfaces such as FXO, FXS, or BRI (depending on installed sub‑modules) without needing external gateways. The modular design fits easily into PBX systems with expansion slots, providing seamless integration and scalability. Each interface supports standard telephony signaling, caller ID detection, and line supervision to ensure reliable connectivity and voice communication. By enabling mixed interface configurations, the EX08 supports hybrid deployments that blend legacy analog systems with modern VoIP infrastructure while preserving investments in existing hardware and simplifying telephony expansion.
