Overview

The Yealink Pro‑Audio YPS20 is a purpose‑built room partition sensor designed for adaptive conference and collaboration spaces that can be divided or combined using movable partitions. Using infrared (IR) diffuse reflection technology, the sensor monitors the position of partitions up to approximately 1.5 meters away and sends status signals to connected Yealink room‑control systems, such as the AP08 DSP or room controllers. This allows audio, display, and conferencing equipment to automatically adjust system settings when a room is divided or combined without requiring manual input. Ideal for enterprise meeting rooms, training spaces, and divisible collaboration environments, the YPS20 simplifies AV automation and improves user experience.
