The StarTech HP JD094B SFP+ (model JD094BST) is a third-party, cost-effective fiber optic transceiver designed as a 100% compatible replacement for the original HPE JD094B module. It enables high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-LR) network connections over single-mode fiber optic cable, supporting distances of up to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles). This hot-pluggable module is engineered for reliability and is rigorously tested to ensure seamless interoperability with compatible HPE networking equipment and other MSA-compliant switches.
