This 8-port SATA III (6Gbps) controller enables you to add eight SATA 6Gbps hard drives (HDDs) or solid State Drives (SSDs) to your computer system or server via an available PCIe x4 card slot. The card supports SATA III and PCI-Express Gen 2 Specifications and four SATA controllers to deliver a high-performance data storage solution.Featuring four 2-Port SATA 6Gbps controllers and a PCIe-x4 MUX, this SATA card enables the connection of eight high-performance SATA 6Gbps drives with a combined total throughput of up to 16Gbps. The SATA drives are connected via two Mini-SAS ports with two included Mini-SAS to 4x-SATA adapter cables. To ensure a secure connection, each SATA port on the included cables features a locking connector, that will prevent the drive from accidental disconnection when working inside your computer case.
