The TRENDnet TI-F10SC is a hardened industrial fiber converter designed for reliable long-distance networking in extreme environments. It converts 10/100 Mbps copper Ethernet to 100Base-FX multi-mode fiber with an SC-type connector, supporting distances of up to 2 km (1.2 miles). The device is housed in a compact IP40-rated metal enclosure and is built to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 75 °C (-40 to 167 °F). Key features include Link Fault Pass Through (LFP) support, overload current protection, and 6kV surge protection on the RJ-45 port. For flexible installation, it comes with DIN-rail and wall-mount hardware, though the required power supply (model TI-M6024) is sold separately.
